The New Prehistory. Vol. 6: Northern Europe

Collection : JePublie présente

Date de publication : 2015

What the author calls northern Europe, it is the part that has been frozen until the 20th millennium BC, and therefore very sparsely populated with little prehistoric memories. The maps show that the settlement began around 10,000 years, and we guess crossing the countries concerned that there has been very little "civilizations" compared to the Danubian Europe, except the... alphabet called runes in these regions. And there in profusion. Even the Vikings, these fearsome warriors would use them on a journey to write to their families back home. The trouble is that the position did not exist yet...
And these runes, we find by chance along the Danube and in the Scandinavian countries we will visit one by one. The originality of this volume is that the art will be much later than in the path of the great Danubian migration, and that Germany is entitled to two passages of Prehistory.
