Cédric Mayen, born in France in 1984, became an avid reader at a young age, with a strong interest in comics. At age ten, he discovered an entirely new culture upon moving to Italy, where he remained through high school. After graduation he returned to France, settling in Lyon, where he studied the theatrical arts and began to write and direct short films.
